I understand that a DR10 stays on your lisence for 11 years. But how long until the offence is spent?

DR10 (Driving or attempting to drive with alcohol level above the prescribed limit) remains active for ten years from the date of the offence. A second similar offence within that period results in a minimum mandatory disqualifcation of three years..

OK, here is another Q to go with the original Q. I have no points on my lisence and have had the endorsement on my lisence for nearly, would this affect me applying to join the fire brigade?
