How did this user name get accepted '**********' ?? Just wondered as I've seen they've posted an answer in parenting. Also if a person gets banned from the site, does this stop them from joining again with a different user name? Only wondered as 'PaluaB' ' Dilkes' and now 'SmarterThanU' all seem in the same manner.

oops..last sentance of post should have read '...all seem to post in the same manner'. Well part of the question has been answered already cos AB has censored it!! For the benefit of other readers the name in question was 'crack+wh*re' but with no plus sign and 'o' instead of '*'! So maybe the same censorship should apply to usernames??!! Right let's see if this is accepted!!

Hi vinny, I haven't seen anything from the juggler, but perhaps I'm not in the right section at the time. Trouble is though that now this has started will AB be able to stop it and how long till the next time. I'd like to post what I really think of these people but 'you know who would' have a fit!! We'll just have to keep policing the site on behalf of AB, but will we get paid!!

The juggler was banned several months ago Lindy and I must say his/her postings were suspiciously like SmarterThanU's. I noticed this especially with the posting regarding the bald budgie which had the same list of points as in one of the Juggler's postings. I think Vinny must have picked up on this as well.

**********. Why do you use this site then? Most of the contributors on here are knowledgeable and have a lot of interests, hence they give straightforward and welcome advice, and partake in intelligent discussion. This is the purpose of this site. Occasionally, we get people such as those mentioned who go out of their way to ruin the site - Probably because they do not have any hobbies or anything better to do than annoy other people, even if it is only by using a rather vulgar and rude user name.

Actually, Fakeplastic, from what I've seen in the short time I've been on here is that most AB users whine about other AB users and make up conspiracy theories about how User A is really User B and how Users C,D,E and F are really User Z. I'm here because I REALLY do have a lot of spare time on my hands and I would love to get out more often but I've signed over 37 hour-per-week of my life to the employment devils and I'm just trying to spend them as painlessly as possible. AB Ed. - There was nothing personal or abusive in my post - I was genuinely offering some contructive advice.

Most of us are employed as well, and don't have the opportunity to use the internet during our employment. I personally am employed in a worthwhile and demanding job, have a home to run, rescue animals and have several pets of my own, have a large garden and go to art classes and look after an elderly mother and well as supporting a child through university. Constructive critiscm is OK if asked for, but as you say, you have not been on this site for very long, so perhaps have not learnt yet that we do have respect for each other. If occasionally we get a little lighthearted on some threads, such as this one, then so what!

I'm surprised there isn't a check on usernames as comprehensive as there is on posts, surely it would make sense to keep a constant level? There was your name in your post, if you can defend against that being offensive.
