cherokee grand or range rover

i am looking to buy one of these 4x4s for about 22,000 quid . and was wondering do they do manual transmition in either as my wife will not drive an automatic. looking for a 05/55 cherokee or 03 range rover . thanks for any help, stu

You can have both in manual or auto....personally I will always go for the range rover...much better finish than the jeep...and if you havent driven both....then your mind will me made up after driving them!!!!

I've had a few range rovers over the years, and would never have anything else!! aprt form the time i had a disco 3....very nice..but not the same as the rangey!!!

thanks very much for your help. i do prefer the range rover myself , but for the price range i could afford a newer jeep. but like you said i havent tested either yet.

Im probably just being a snob....but the rangey is much classier......the drive is better (i believe) and you get a much better all round view in the rangey......
servicing may be the only down side as it may be a little more expensive!
