There is a mistype in the question and a letter N has been missed out. The chemical name should be:

para-1-menthene-8-thiol

This is indeed another name for grapefruit mercaptan.

para-1-menthene-8-thiol is a genuine chemical that exists and is also known as grapefruit mercaptan (amongst others) The Wikipedia entry is in error.
