Hi, I know I am think, I have got a new computer, it has got a built in web cam, great I thought I wuld send a photo over to Australia to my children via e mail, but the silly thing is asking me such sily questions like, incoming E.mail server, I am with AOL, so do I use POP3 or IMAP or HTTP. Also it is wanting to know the incoming server and out going server, does that mean my server being the incoming and say my daughters in Oz being theout going, please the help the thicko. I have done what I thought was right sent through a picture, which my daughter did not receive, and know I can not change the address settings, which I put into it, I put IMAP, AOL, them my daughters .com.au. So even if I get correct settings I cannot change the settings please help again

why not just use the cam to take a snap ... save the pikkie and then sent the file as an e-mail attachment
(sounds like you are using the save and e-mail option ....)
Most of these "helper" progs don't make it easy for novices
life is too short ... at least if you take the wimpy way ... it should get there ....
then when you get a little better you can set the software up to send automatically
