my norton internet security is blocking the connection of internet explorer - the email and msn are fine - any ideas what has caused this and what we need to do?
No answer...so I'll carry on anyway. I had the same problem when I upgraded to Norton 360. I trawled through various forums until I found this solution which worked for me.
Control panel
Internet options
Programs
Manage add ons
click on Disable radio button
Ok
go to Advance tab
Reset.
Go onto the Microsoft web site - there are loads of forums about problems people have encountered when they have upgraded or renewed with Norton. I'm sure you'll find the answer there.(I'm a complete technophobe & if I can solve a problem, anyone can!)
