Yes another film was
'It happened here.'
and was quite good - I have seen the film page but this is what I remember.....
Amateur production around 1966 - and released 1967. So after a few thousand feet ,t hey went back and refilmed it in a cinema format
Somewhat disappointingly in black and white
The heroine is a little nursey (actually I think a district nurse as was)
and goes through variousadventrues and ends up joining 'Instant Action' - (sounds like a laxative says a friend) which is a british SS and stumbles across friends who are running a clandestine hospital. Bad news -she doesnt turn them in, and......
so she is implicated but not arrested and is therefore sent off in disgrace - to a hospital which turns out to be euthanasing cripples and jewish chidlren i think
so then of coruse she joins the good guys
and the final scenes are of the Good guys
and so we have a few mintues abotu what they are up to....rousing broadcasts of Victory radio, messages from King George
and the Good guys find some of the British SS , and of course machine gun them in a field. Final scene I think
Ho hum,a sort of that's war ....film
i saw it in 1967 - it clearly made an impression on me
