Im allergic to something, and this something has kept me up all night....

I had a painfully itchy throat, sneezing about 8 times in a row, an itchy ear and a horribly itchy roof of my mouth!!

Im so fed up going doctors for things, i was told i could buy something in either boots or superdrugs to sort of test myself?

Im currently on Piriton tablets but they dont seem to do much when it gets really bad.

Spank you in advance!

nat i think if you went to your gp he could send you to the hospital and they will do a number of them all together and you probs get better results off this than an home one , why has,ent doc reffered you?

I havent been to the doctor, but have been to docs and hospital a lot due to my knee problem.

I assumed it was Hayfever, because i've only had really bad symptons in the past year....

Im not very educated on hayfever, allergies etc, because ive suffered from neither in the past.
sorry but you said have.nt been to the doctor but been to the docs i thought they were both the same
It does sound like hayfever. Try Beconeze nasal spray in addition to your tablets. I used this in the summer as I was really suffering with hayfever and my tablets weren't very effective, and I hardly got any symptoms at all with this. Paws x

Thanks Paws - i'll buy some of that from Boots on the way home.
Get loratadine its the best antihistamine.Get it in boots, tescos, asdas. Not drowsy and works really well. If it doesnt clear up in a few days go to the docs and he can test yer blood x
Try this...http://www.lloydspharmacy.co.uk/home-page/serv ices_we_offer/services.htm.

They do and allergy and food intolerance test.

They are quite pricey from what i remember though.
i hate the EXSACT smae problem, i am aware i have a food allergy, every 7 years the inside of your body re-wires, you can in this time devlpoe new food allergies. I'm going to get an allery test, by a professional, i suggest you do the same.
