Not sure if this is in the correct section but hope someone can help.
I have broadband with Virgin Media and I am trying to cancel an appointment with them for this afternoon as my modem was not working and someone was going to come round and fix it. I now dont need to keep the appointment but when I ring the technical number (09062121111) nobody is picking it up, then after 3 minutes it automatically disconnects.
I need to cancel my appointment or they will charge me 10 for it! I have rang the normal virgin media number (09062121111) and spoke to a member of the team who told me that-GASP!-the only way to cancel my appointment is via that number....
I am furious that they are not answering calls and potentially this is going to cost me.
I cannot find an e-mail address to at least inform them of my cancellation that way.
If they decide to charge me for the visit I am going to refuse to pay the fee owing to their negligence.
