I have posted in 'pets' about my cat sh1tting on the carpet.
As everyone is here instead of Animals & Nature can you give me a reason why my newly neutered, litter trained cat has started messing?
Mr P is threatening severe action...

Your cat may be sending you a message that it isn't happy with its current facilities. Daft as it may sound, you may find a solution in refreshing, or even changing the type of litter as well as moving the box to a place where moggie has a bit more privacy...who knows..perhaps it's reading and doesn't want to be disturbed.

Thanks everyone ~ Fr Bill, I have just spoken to the vet who suggested the same thing...even down to buying a new litter box!
Well done :o)
The the tubes are cut, screechee. I did think about putting some ball bearings in there until I found this out.
I shall be trying all sorts of things. If they don't work apparently there is a behaviouralist (sp) nurse at the vets. Maybe she can sort him out.
