Do you download films or legally pay to see them in the cinema? Personally I have been loaned a few copies by friends who have bought pirates but the picture quality and sound was so awful that I couldn't understand why people take the chance in buying copies. Do you download your own or do you prefer (like me) the whole cinema effect? In saying that, it's a costly business taking your family to the cinema. My hubby and I are taking our three kids to see Ratatouille tonight and I know that we will spend a fortune. I have watched the admission prices soar recently from 4.75 per adult to 6 and from 3.50 for kids to 4.75 - not mentioning the cost of snacks in the pictures although I have to admit that i'll be the huge woman in the big, bulging coat who mysteriously sheds pounds by the end of the film! I will pay their entrance fees but not their ridiculously priced juices etc. So what do you do?

The ones I saw were pretty duff copies. So obviously shot in the cinema because you could see people's heads, hear them coughing, ruffling sweet wrappers and actually bobbing about heading for the toilet! I spent more time watching the comings and goings of the people in the cinema than the film itself, which I couldn't really hear anyway. 10 for seven films is really good though. No wonder so many people buy copies then. It's just your luck though for what you get.
I didnt know I was being spied on lol

I leave work after I have done 7.5 hours so 4pm today
Yes Rev....you know that Renault Espace that always parks at the side of you, and then co-incidentally moves off at the same time as you.................................???

That's not me. I drive a CityRover.
It is now 8 to see a film at my local cinema. I can cope with that. It's 3 for a bag of malteasers. That's OK. The people who work in my local cinema are useless, and provide little to no service. I can even handle that. What i cannot stand is the sh!t magnets that go to see films at the cinema. You know the one's. They're the one's that talk throughout the movie then ask each other "What did he say?!" with monotonous regularity. They're the one's who put their feet up on the back of your seat, then threaten to stab you when you ask them to move them. They're the ones who throw popcorn. They're the one's that make it so unbearable to be in the same room with, that you leave in the middle of a great film. They're the ones that take 5 year olds to see gritty drama films then proceed to shout at them when they lose interest in the film and start to do laps of the theatre shouting. They're also the one's that end up picking up their teeth with a broken arm, because hey, i can only ask you nicely to stop your kids talking five times without snapping.......................

.......................phew!
I once had a fight with a woman like that in the cinema, hundreddolla.
I put her head through one of those plastic poster display frames.
I always buy pirate copies and the quality is excellent. I only do it because otherwise I have to go to the local cinema, where half the time they show the reels back to front, and last time "Harry Potter" was in the local dialect - complete gobblegook! and I get to see the new films before they come out. But I'm not telling anyone from whom I buy them! I pay 3.50 per copy and they are brill.
Nice one cheries!

Oh, yeah, the rant before was to pseudo justify the fact that i now download all my films! I don't watch ANY that are anything but 100% sound and video. Thank God for cyber geeks posting films or i'd be buying 5 or 6 DVD's a month!
I remember one pirate copy I had

Harry Porter

or was it shaving Private Ryan lol
Shaving Ryan's Privates. lol
and before you start claiming victory, Rev, AB doesn't count.
Oh dear oh dear

Mine was definately Shaving Private Ryan and the Rear Hunter

Now do some work lol
Rev you're right it was Shaving Private Ryan (With Rachel Ryan) I ALWAYS thought they should have named it Shaving Ryan's Privates - but hey the powers that be at Porn HQ had other ideas!!

Some of my other favs were:

The Fvckstones - Flintstones
The Sperminator - with the greatest tagline ever "I'll come again"

pure gold!
