Should the disc slot on our Wii be flashing blue when we are not using it?

The power led is currently orange, and the slot is flashing blue, is this normal... seems a bit odd to me.

Cheers SD

Ive just recently got mine connected to our wireless router to get the wii online and when I turned it off its the first time ive ever seen the power led orange. its usually red when off or green when in use. I turned the console back on, and realised i hadnt disconnected it from the internet, then when i turned it off the led was back to red as usual.
-Maybe the blue flash is something to do with this, otherwise Id say its pretty abnormal cos Ive never had that happen and Ive had mine since February.
Hope that helps.
It means you have an email waiting - most probably the one from Nintendo about the Metroid Prime channel.

Oh thanks to both of you, thats probably it. I've only recently connected it to the router, but i already got the metroid prime channel. I'll have a look any way.

Thanks, SD
