Aggggggggh! Wireless problems

I am really fed up with wireless problems - just working one day and not the next, not being able to connect.

I restart the computer, unplug the router and modem, power on the modem, wait several minutes, power on the router, wait several minutes, power on the laptop...

I reset the router, I turn the laptop's wireless switch on and off...

I try everything and eventually it works again but there's no logic to it... no reason why it should stop working in the first place since I don't change anything.

Isn't there a reliable solution?

koster - is your router secured? My neighbour's isn't and I can enter the admin page and change all the settings, locking him out. (I did it once to prove to him that I could)

Could this be happening to you?

Have you tried changing channel?

i had the exact same problem right i am literally three meters away and it wont work but i found it was my wirecard so i have simply changed them out to some USB wireless connecters and works a beauty but i would do some investigating before spending any money
