Music for 30th birthday party
3 Answers
Any suggestions for background music for a 30th birthday party please?
It's being held in a private room, and will be played through the speaker system, but we need to provide our own CDs.
Lively and good fun to start, and then a little more 'dancy' towards the end!
Thanks very much.

Basically you want to start with a few floorfillers, then a bit of 60s going into the 70's, then a bit of chart and dance then cheese it for the last hour

I would suggest that you include some music from around the time the birthday person was between 18 to 22 years old, as that is when most people get their clubbing or disco experience and relate to the tunes. So a few tunes from between 1995 to 1999 will probably be well received. A few suggestions.
ATB - 9pm till I come
Cher - Believe
T- Spoon - Sex on the beach
Spice Girls - Stop
Shaggy - It wasn't me
2 Pac - California Love
and many, many more.
