just a thought after watchin sky news this morning.
england at rugby get hammered 30 nil or whatever ok ?
totally slaughtered.
and the fans stay back and are great.
in france the fans arent segregated they all get on and theres no trouble .
but at the footy theres mass brawls and the english fans are a disgrace .
so wots different between the rugby and the footie??

england football fans make a show of themselves wherever they go, if you see the scots or the irish at tournaments they are mixing with the locals and having a laugh and friendly banter, england fans go there with eyes bulging out their heads shaved heads looking to beat up the next innocent person they see, i like rugby but it will never have the popularity of football and once the rugby world cup is over tonight it will fade into the background again

Unfortunately football has a tradition of hooliganism, where as rugby hasn't.
People in society who enjoy a fight know that given the right footballing occasion they can have a punch up(Local derbies,"crunch matches" etc).
I would like to add that as a football fan trouble these days is rare, the only time it happens at West Brom is when the Dingles are in town.
