any idea why i cannot go into internet options anymore.it just flashes straight off when i click on it.
i go into internet explorer then tools then internet options..where am i going wrong?

Try minimising all your active screens - it could be hiding behind them.

thanks ethel but have sussed the problem.i was on laptop but can only access internet options through pc but still not solved my problem.which is how do i open the little picture boxes with a red cross in it in some of my emails please

I can't understand why you can't open internet options on the laptop.
