Anybody got any ideas as to how I get rid of my enormous bags under my eyes? I'm only 24, yet I look about 30.

I do sympathise, I have always had a similar problem. I suffer from various allergies to foods and was told by a consultant that people suffering from such allergies more often than not have eye bags. If I eat dairy produce and too much bread and meat I look far worse. I am not vegetarian, but if I stick to lots of veg, rice and not too much of anything else, and drink lots of water I certainly notice the difference in my eyes. I have now found a really good eye cream by Clarins which certainly helps to firm the skin around the eyes and they also do a very effective concealer which is based on reflected light (don't ask me how or why it works!) Other than that try to get enough sleep and avoid getting overtired and stressed. I would also add that genetics can be a huge part of it. My mother has a similar problem.
a quick fix if you are going out or have a special occasion to attend is Preparation H which is more commonly used to treat piles!! It is reported (frequently) that models such as Kate Moss, Helen Christianson, Liz Hurley and Cindy Crawford use this!!!
I tried just that Mrs Cheeks!!! Unfortunately, it stung so much I had to wash it off very quickly. I do have an extremely sensitive skin though, so it might well work for others.

Thanks for all your replies. I've just found a tube of Prep H in the cupboard so I'll give it a go :) Thanks again
I'm 20 and I have the same problem. Theres so many products on the market, when you're desperate, you'll try anything! A few weeks ago I purchased Estee Lauder 'uncircle' for dark circles. It cost 23 for a little bottle. Too early to tell if it's working though. However, Estee Lauder have a promise (they like to hide) that if any of the products don't work on you, you can give it back and get a full refund! That's why I purchased it. Let you know if it works though. Don't know about the pile cream though. Eyes are very delicate, especially the skin around them - imagine the long term effects. I mean, what if the cream damages the epidermal layer of the skin, and everything under they eye becomes apparent eg thin vessels etc. Mmmm. Not very attractive.
facial acupucture. Its what all the celebs do. make sure you find a properly qualified therapist. try the British Acupuncture Council.
