I've had my ipod for about a year. I haven't used it for a couple of months, but now I've got it I'd like to add different songs etc.

I tried connecting it to Itunes but Itunes didn't appear to recognise it (Nothing came up).

I then downloaded the latest version of Itunes but still nothing has come up.

Why is this? And How can i fix it?

Give it 30mins or so, connected to the USB cable (may take time for the battery to kick in).

Make sure it's connected to a USB port straight into your computer.
