credit card transfers
2 Answers
hello!
just wondering if someone can help (im a bit rubbish with money so please dont judge me!)
story is:
i decided to transfer a balance over from one credit card to another one i had, the credit limit in the first one is 2300, and i mis typed the amount over to the other company and typed 2400. So the next day i decided i didnt want to go ahead with this transfer (minimum payment was higher than i thought) and so i emailed to ask them to cancel it, they replied saying it was already processed and to contact the first company. I contacted them and they told me that they had no note of a balance transfer request, they also said it couldnt go anyway cos its for a higher amount than i have with them.
this made sense and so i relaxed about it all.
Today i have gone online to the 2nd company and its showing up with a balance of 2400?
Im not sure how this can be showing on here if the other company are saying it cant go?
does anyone have any experience of this happening to set my mind at rest?
i know it sounds stupid but i feel like my debts been doubled (but i know this isnt possible as its a TRANSFER and so there is still only one amount?)
