Only 4 days until I have the plaster casts removed from both of my legs, yippee. I hope I don't walk funny lol. And I will be able to drive and have a proper bath instead of a washdown, for any of you who dont know I have had 2 broken legs with knee to toe casts on for over 6 weeks. And soon they will be gone............................
I will be able to scratch my feet. OOhh the delight
Hi chesnuts, i am pleased for you, but just take your time until you ad-just to the freedom of no plaster, lots of luck, best wishes, megan. xxxxxxxx :-))
Youve done well -well not that you had much option -but I would have been seriously demented -especially with the itching.Well done you -like the others have said take it easy but enjoy the freedom x
Thanks guys, ooh I forgot about how hairy my legs will be, hope its a lady and not a guy who takes the plaster off, how embarassing lol and I will take it easy, promise x
Hello chesnuts, Gosh I bet you are looking forward to getting your casts off .Your legs will feel odd for a while until you get used to them , hope they will give you plenty of physio . Let us know how you get on . Take care .:-) xx
make u moisturize your legs when plaster comes off cos your skin will go dead flaky when u start scratching once it comes off. my son has been in plaster about 6 times in last 10 years and he always scratches like mad once plaster comes off. good luck

Lucky you Chestnut! I'm getting my cast off a week today(i dislocated my knee a month ago) & i can't wait. I bet I'll have forgotten how to drive! The thing i have missed most (apart from being able to go out anywhere) is having a bath.
