X g.
You must be breaking your heart at this moment.
Our animals are like our children.
There is nothing anyone can say to make you feel better either.
I just hope Cleo is not in too much pain and that the Vet can give some sort of pain relief.
Animals can sometimes be a bit more intelligent than us humans at times.
As others have said, she will know when it is her time to go, and so will you. Just hang in there for her. xxxx

so so sorry, I know how you feel and what you are going through having been there myself last year with my old boy. As long as the vet can keep her comfortable, and you are there for you that is all she needs at the moment.
I am sorry, I didnt see your previous threads, but it sounds like this is not the news you were expecting. Only thing we know for sure with our pets, is that we usually outlive them, and when we have them we know we will have to say goodbye, and it will break our hearts. Remember the good times you have have had with her, your memories are with you forever, and she will always be in your heart. Jx

Pastafreak, that's such sad news! I didn't see your previous posts, either, but my heart goes out to you and Cleo. My old (now, sadly, long gone) cat was called Cleo, too, and she died from kidney failure/old age when she was 18. As you know, I've named my little female kitten after her (well, she's not a kitten any more - she's 2yrs old now) and she is so much like her, I swear she's old Cleo, re-incarnated! I do wish you all the best and I can only pray that the vet manages to keep your girl free from pain. Love & hugs to you both, K xxx
...and Frankie sends cuddles and sloppy kisses to Cleo.
It is horrible that you had your hopes up only to be told that it is cancer.
My dog died of cancer, I got him put to sleep when it was discovered. It was in his bladder and he was leaking like a sieve and getting upset.
If she has a good quality of life that is the main thing. She has a mummy who loves her and she trusts you. I am sure that the vet will give you all the information and support that you need.
Frankie only had a tummy bug and I was in full neurotic mother mode.
We all love our furry babies so much, if we didn't we wouldn't be in this section of AB.
Best wishes from Susan, Frankie and Princess Merlin - the twins from hell. xxx :-)
