All fuels can be used.
Our village was offered low cost heating from a company using clean wood from dumps and a renewable local forest but most villagers turned it down because they were frightened of pollution even though the pollution would be equivalent to just one coal fire.
About half the houses in the village use coal fires !
It is in Wales though.
