This was my last one. I can now see the connection - (passed down)sank (old) o.
However, the only reference I can find, is Finnish for 'bucket'.
I had found 'sansa' as an African musical instrument, but, of course, the final 'a' would be wrong.
I would be very interested as to the location of your answers.
