I totally agree. If there were ever an argument to re-introduce corporal punishment, and indeed maybe even capital punishment, then this is it.

I would say 5 lashes of a cat-o-nine tails per successful candle illegally blown out. That'll wipe the smirk from their lemon curd smeared fat little faces.
