Anybody been watching this? What do you think of it?

I know he is a bit of a marmite character, but I love Russell Brand and his new show has marginally made up for the utter drivel that has been on TV lately (150hours of stricly come dancing / Xfactor, endless amounts of sport - rugby, football, motor racing, snooker, and really crap plots in Emmerdale and Enders).

Im enjoying it, and i do like him. i hope it will return for more after this 6 episode stretch..
The only thing that puts me off him is that i know 2 people that got 'picked' by him after one of his shows to go backstage and lets just say one of them wasn't disappointed by what happened! Thats the only thing that puts me off him is knowing that he's so sleazy!
i couldn't get over the fact that he just picked them to go backstage to do things!
maybe its just me..

I think he's a horrible sleaze maestro and I like to think that if I was picked to go back stage and 'do things' with him I would have enough self respect to decline.

That said, I can't help but laugh at the things he says sometimes but if he disappeared from our screens completely I wouldn't miss him.

I recorded last nights episode I and could not stop laughing at it. What he was saying was spot on . Especially the voice recognition on phones and the 80's computer bits. :-D

I caught a couple of minutes unfortunately and the bit about TV detector vans.

Ive heard all that before about 15 years ago (maybe Ben Elton) and it wasnt funny then. I could write better rubbish myself lol
