why sleepy?
think they get bored most of the time Bez
they need a bit of boot camp if you ask me lol
mothers all get stressed about running a house, looking after kids and working - let's just step back and see what is important here... house? job? or kids? The housework will still be there tomorrow and if you left your job tomorrow your bosses and colleagues wouldn't even give you a second thought a few weeks down the line.

Don't ignore what is important and waste valuable time that you can never get back - enjoy your kids - you may even enjoy yourself at the same time
Just go an have a look at "happiest moment" just posted!
so you're not into the whole putting them back down mines and back up chimneys idea then toby?:-(
I agree with you totally, Toby. Your type of reply usually gets everyone going though - in an adverse way. You get the women who say they HAVE to work...they CAN'T do three things at once....they get too tired/can't be bothered. Children should always come first - or why bother having them?
Before i had my last child 4 months ago i worked every hour in a stressful job earning lots of money, when i went on maternity leave i realised what i was missing with my kids so i have now given up work to stay at home. We have less money but i love being with my kids more.
Congratulations Jodie - I seriously think you've made the best choice. You don't need the biggest house, the latest gadgets, the best of....in order to bring up a happy family. I think more people should take a step back and look at what's REALLY important in life, and nurturing and loving your children has to come at the top of the list. I'm sure that in years to come, you'll reap the rewards of your selflessness.
Hope i haven't offended - It is just something I feel strongly about - not that you couldn't tell that already -

But as said, just read that 'Happiest Moment 'post - what has changed? Remember that wonderful feeling when they put your baby in your arms and a few years on we are saying we can't wait for the holidays to be over so they can go back to school - what is society doing to us to make us feel this way?
Ice i didn't have time to really talk to them properly. I was always rushing cos i had to be somewhere, i always had a mobile phone stuck to my ear. Thinking back i feel guilty to have missed what i did but i'm loving it now and the kids love the fact they have their mum back.x
I think there's so much pressure on people now. The world seems based on materialism - so much so, that even children in junior school can get picked on for not having the "right" shoes or whatever. It's about time parents stopped following the latest trends, and started communicating with their children - and by TREATING them as children, instead of trying to make them old before their time. . A slower, more relaxed pace of life wouldn't go amiss either.
