Can anybody tell me the title and singer of a song from 1976, sang by a female Canadian singer - has a fast beat in which she's leaving her lover, and the chorus has the words "You squander wealth that's mine" "you've gone away-ay, -yay -ay-ay-ay-yay! I think her first name was Tania!
Thanks, kempie, but it's not the one. I think I could be mixing up that line with Labi Siffre's song. This particular singer appeared on a "Top of the Pops 2" programme on UKTVGold channel wearing dungarees and a peaked cap recently, and it's driving me crazy trying to remember her name and the title of the song as I remember it from my childhood!
