Maximum legal working day
Is there a maximum number of days one can work legally and what are the rules around taking breaks please? I would like to work my normal hours in less days, but need to check out if that's possible. I would have thought so as I would be doing it voluntarily. Thanks.

Unless you are a night worker your day can be potentially quite long before your employer falls foul of the Regs, so there's unlikley to be a legal impediment because the 48 hours average maximum are averaged over several weeks.
This doesn't mean that your employer is obliged to let you do this, though.
