Aquagility

Elsewhere I have read of Aquagility and, on other occasions others, being "sin-binned" for some kind of misdemeanour.

Generally those thus side-lined are excellent people who contribute greatly to helping those less knowledgeable to finish their quizzes and crosswords.

It follows that, therefore, being "suspended" "yellow-carded" etc is some kind of accolade, an award for excellence.

Pray, tell me how I, a relative novice to this site, might achieve such an award of merit?

I was just wondering the same thing Strix, but shamefully have been on this site for ten months now, and have not yet been suspended , so I cannot help you.

Obviously I'm just going to have to try harder to get into Aquagility's league !

I was suspended when I clicked on the submit button twice when posting an answer as nothing seemed to be happening. The site was very slow that day.

clean your ears then - I've never heard AQ berate anybody !!!
and perhaps have you eyes checked at the same time - if the question refers to a certain quiz - don't bl**dy well open it and life will be a lot more pleasant for the rest of us !!!

Hi Strix - the above was NOT aimed at you, but at the appropriately named person posting above me.

Now onto other things, I've figured out 3 of the four clues - I'll tell you now, cryptics and yours truly don't mix so you'd better keep an eye out for the scoring.

You don't really want to get yourself banned, it's messy getting you out, we have to petition the AB Ed en masse to get you sprung, but we will, if need be.

And further to the Melbourne Cup - I backed Tawqeet last year after he won the Geelong Cup - I find that's sometimes a very good indicator - Media Puzzle won it, the year he won the Cup. Pity Dermot's not here this year, I've been lucky with both his winners. One of Hayes horses, The Fuzz, won this year so will have a few bob there for starters but I haven't really settled down to study it yet - everythings been so up in the air here with the EI.
