worst thing you've ever broke

I'm such a clutz, yesterday I banged into the edge of the draining trying making it topple over with all my plates and bowls in and smash all over my kitchen floor. I am always smashing things and the amount of mirrors, oh dear. Whats worse thing you've broken?

Talking of brothers has just reminded me of something funny.
When one of my brothers was a teen he had a few mates in, and somehow mum's favourite painting got knocked off the wall. I think someone's foot went through it. My brother frequented a local pub which had the same painting on their wall. After much pleading, the landlord sold him the painting and my brother thought he was in the clear.
Unfortunately after spending years adorning a pub wall, the painting had acquired some additional artwork in biro - there was a' Kilroy was 'ere' figure poking out of a bush and one of the animals had specs on. Mum noticed the first timeshe was dusting the frame...and went ballistic. I think my bro was grounded until he was 25!

A corgi model of Concorde, still in it's box, bought for me by my father when Concorde flew for the first time, on the day Concorde flew for the last time I got it out to show my son and when the phone rang I put it on top of the TV, as the Concordes roared in to land for the final time the vibrations knocked the model off the TV and the tiny wheels broke off. I was mortified.

I cant think of anything of the top of my head that Ive broken and been upset about. Usually its just glasses and cups etc.

But one thing I am definately certain of after reading this thread and others involving 4get and redcrx ..................... Im glad I didnt grow up in their household! lol

No offence girls but between what you two and your brother did to each other and all theses accidents.......... it couldnt have been the safest place! lol Anything bad ever happen to friends when they were round your house?

Ours was a great house to grow up in. My sis hit my bro with a golf club, I smashed my lil sisters face up on patio after pushing her off slide. Bro stabbed my sister through wrist while going for my eyes with a knife. Our dog jumped through a pane of glass once and cut his body open, the same bit of glass my bro had previously put his head through after fallen down the stairs. Ummm as for our friends coming round cant recall anything, we had a school bus crash outside ours once and mum looked after all the children. Oh and my dog weed on my best mate once. :-) Redcrx might remember more

LOL, i loved growing up in our house, it was just typical kids stuff but as there were 4 of us i just think it seems worse.

The dog weed on one of my friends too but i cant really recall anything bad happening to any friends of mine. Apart from the time when a boyfriend of mine was round and he was allowed in my bedroom as long as i left door open. little sis ran in and asked if he'd kiss her and to 'make it a frenchie' pmsl. he was terrifed, she was only 6!

most things centred around my brother or my 2 little sisters as they were closer in age.

Last time my neice and my sister were up together it was at my brothers funeral . Well my neice was playing with her baby on the floor and I got up from my seat and managed to step on her glasses which she had taken off and
" placed safely on the floor so the baby wouldn't pull them off ! " ooops !
Lately I manage to drop glasses, plates , and bowls alarmingly frequently too .:-) xx

Wracking my brains, can't think of much...Quite careful usually, although I have clumsy days where I am best just staying in bed (although even then I would probably fall out of it!)

I broke my arm falling out of my cot (last week...haha, no when I was very teeny), broke glass pane in a door when I fell off my rocking horse that was actually a dog and crashed through it, probably various ornaments. Oh and recently, glasses that I can't find any more of! The ones made from glass bottles etc.

I think that's more or less me!

i sqashed the bugie by bouncing onto it whilst on a space hopper and i broke a window testing a boomarang inside the house, my defense of 'i thought it would come back' didn't work.

Squashed the budgie!!! Oh my god did it die? My mates budgie had a brain tumour and vets couldn�t do anything and it got bigger and bigger until one day its head exploded!!

I shouldn't laugh at that but i couldn't help it then i had such and image in my head!,

i can't remember doing it even i was only about two and according to family legend it didn't survive the encounter
