variety act

i am desperate to know the name of a variety act from the 70s & 80s, they were a group of acrobats who were dressed as batman, spiderman, superman etc and they used to jump over a wooden horse doing all kinds of stunts and acrobatic tricks

Not sure but I seem to remember an acrobtic group called the Halfwits.
