shower sealant still not dried???
7 Answers
I sealed some exposed areas in bottom of my shower with a multi purpose sealant, it said it could be used on bath, showers, kitchens etc.
I think I did a good jod applying the stuff as it was my first time, and followed all the instructions. It gave different drying times for different thicknesses of application, of 48-72 hours.
But it has been over a week and the sealant is still tacky to touch, which must mean I have still to wait longer??? The room is fairly dry and I have even had a dehumidifier in the room to dry a carpet area I had to shampoo. The dehumidifier turned the room into a dry warm room for 24 hrs, so even that should have helped surely.
Any thoughts. I cannot avoid usingthe shower for much longer.

I have far too much money spare and would not have cut corners on purpose to save money but more likely I may have bought the wrong one as a result of negligence on my part. But thanks for pointing it out lol!
