I am going, next week. No question, just wanted to tell you all as I am very giddy!
Anyone got any handy hints and tips? No kids going, just me and a friend (how sad do we sound?!)

The 5am start is a bummer, but worth it to get 4 ful days out of it!
BOO-exactly :) Not that I don't think kids are fab....They are just fab at arm's length, and preferable in small doses! Much more freedom for us to, well, act like kids!

Invisible, I will! Thank you very much. What do you mean the guts? I just think I have spent the last 2 years working very hard, and have gone through some hassle, so figured I deserved a break! I think as long as you have a good time, it doesn't matter if you've taken a whole nursery class or yourself!
I know some people may find it a bit weird :S But as long as you can let go for a bit, Disney can be fun for all ages! Corporate and money-grabbing, yes, but so so great!
Get yourself to the Panto ("Oh yes you should"!); I am sure it will be even more fun without kids to consider, as B00 says!
B00 I think you can-at about 35 euros! Might be a treat too far, but it does sound like fun! I can bet your friends were well psyched! X

Louisa, thanks :) Wish I could fit you in my (already over-stuffed!) suitcase! Next year, when me and 2 of my friends have graduated in Summer, we are talking about going again, this time with their kids, how about you join us then? :)
When my friend went to Florida, she got me a bright yellow Mickey Poncho to keep the rain off, so I will be packing that! I would hate to get wet and look silly, after all..!!!

Ooooh lucky you leela!!! The only handy "hints and tips" I can give you is to book into restaurants in Disney Village early, otherwise you may have to make do with hot dogs and McDonalds!!! Oooh and turn up for the parades early, otherwise you wont see anything! You will have a fantastic time, I loved it there.x
