Do you think the UK celebrate halloween for the right reasons? Why is it that children have to plaster your vehicle with flour if you don't give them money any more. Sweets apparently aren't good enough? The US seem to get a lot more fun out of it but it seems lost on us. Or is it just me?

They didnt even call at ours last year

just egged the bluddy window! little barstools
As I already said , I am unable to go to my usual effort this year but I have bags of sweets at the ready in case they still come. :-) x
I remember as a kid, not doing that much for halloween. My sister and I used to carve out a suede (pumpkins must of been too expensive!) lol

Tonight, I had my 11 old son asking me if he could go treat or treating, but I told him no, as I don't think its right.

Then I spent the rest of the evening feeling like a right miserable git!
Petalflower - Take your son out! Dress up and go to the neighbours - Most people welcome you and have sweets ready and if they don't want you to call they just don't answer the door. We received a great welcome last year and am looking forward to the fun tonight
