Pleeease Help!

Can somebody pleeease tell me how on earth I import audio/music files into widows movie maker! I mean I know 'how' but every single audio/music track I import comes back with 'the selected file is not valid or is corrupt' It is driving me insane! even songs I HAVE paid for through i-tunes store is not valid! does anyone have any suggestions please! thankyou : {

IT tunes are protected, I have stopped buying them, they can`t work on movie maker. CDs ripped unto your computer will do or downloaded from nearly anywhere except IT tunes. Blubster foe example. Hope it works out for you.
