accident while banned driving

My bf is currently banned from driving and is doing 200 hours community service. He also got a fine and was banned for 20 months. This was for drink driving, dangerous driving and failing to stop for a police officer. However, he recently drove his work van (his father owns the company and asked him to do the job!!) and slightly knocked a cyclist (from stationary). What can he expect to happen? How much worse would it be if he failed to stop? The cyclist wasnt hurt in the incident!
