I cut my labels out my clothes when I get them and no not because I;m ashamed of my size lol. I just cant stand labels, especially on thinner material when they show through, does anybody else do this?

actually I may do it if they are in a spot that rubs or on a lace fabric and then show through

Yes! Done! There's something slightly tacky to see a beautiful woman, with lovely clothes, but a giant square or taglet protruding from her garments.

Been done for years...but... we had an embarrassing moment once when a 'friend' asked if they could have all the labels. 'Why?' we asked. (we didn't have any..always threw them away). She wanted to sew them into her clothes to make them look 'posher.' Absolutely wierd!

I cut out tags that make me itchy, I also hate those massive long tags you get on tops so they go on a hanger okay

I cut labels out of most things,especially underwear and t-shirts.Its not that I think they look tacky or anything,more that they irritate my skin. I have a thing about knickers (similar to the way some women are about shoes ) and have 3 drawers full of them all without labels.

Oooo , yes I too cut them out if they are itchy , notably underwear and tops , and why do some shops sew their tags in with that sharp nylon thread ....ouch !

oooh hanger tags absolutely the worst. knicker labels also especially those long ones that stick out back. and bra labels they are so itchy

I too remove all labels from my blouses and and other tops because tend to irritate my skin.

I often will go up to complete strangers and put their labels in if they are hanging out

lol 4get, I did that once to a mans pockets in his trousers (the insides where peeping out) and I am so used to fixing my boys trousers I just went into auto, I was mortified, especially when I saw how horrified he looked, he did see the funny side thankfully..

No, I never do that, otherwise I cant return them to the shop after I've worn them.

LIke most of the others i cut off all labels cos they irritate my skin-i can guarantee if ive forgotten to cut off one my daughter will notice it!! anyway why do the manufacturers need to put in such big labels that dig into you. And with thin material why cant they just put in a label along a side seam where it doesnt show.

why is it men dont have problems like us

and i have been known to cut the label off when buying from george in asda lol
