thisll be a light-hearted post please as its friday and i cant be bothered with those who want to start a fight

We are all off to a friends for fireworks tonight. it was arranged ages ago and the hosts said theyd supply food and fireworks and we could add to it if we'd like.

Anyway, the men decided that they want big bangs and I came home yesterday to find our downstairs toilet full of boxes of rockets. No pretty pretty swirly quiet firworks but huge blinkin rockets, about a hundred from what i can see.

I spoke to the woman whos house we are going to and her hubby has also sneaked loads and loads of bangers and rockets into the house ready for this eve.

with 5 kids to amuse, 3 of which are under 2.5 years i can see this has all been done to amuse the men.

so we have said that we wont be trusting the men to buy the fireworks next year lol

Last year we did exactly the same, went to our friends house for a fireworks party. All the kids were bored about half way into it and went watching telly (us women got bored way before the kids) and it left the men outside laughing like goons over the rockets and bangers- bless em eh?
