After enjoying a good season of young bean pods; I have a surplus of next year's bean seeds. Are they edible. Has anyone cooked and eaten them? Tadpole
Thank you Clanad, Since I posted the question I've cooked some (boiled) and although the water turned purple they tasted all right: something like butter beans. No ill effects so far. One point though they were quite a bulky food. I imagine that in quantity they would be quite filling. Tadpole
