Low Slung Jeans

I went for some retail therapy today with a mission to buy myself a new pair of jeans. Instead, I came home with a top and 3 sets of underwear. Why? I can't find any 'normal' jeans!!

Why oh why do the fashion designers assume that every female wants to wear low slung jeans? I hate the feeling that my arse is hanging out if I bend over, nor do I want the Simon Cowel look either. Please, just a pair of normal jeans!!

Am I truly in a minority here??

Nope, you aint Dak, infact last few pairs of jeans i've bought have all been mens jeans because i'm naffed off with the choice for women.

Being the shape I am I have to wear the low slung jeans or I look absolutely ridiculous. I am a size 8 with very narrow hips but quite a wide waist.If I was to wear anything on my waist I would need a size 10 which would then be too big on the bum and hips.The fashion industry thinks all women are a set shape for each size and it drives me crazy.
Have you tried the boyfriend fit jeans Dakota? they seem to be a bit higher waisted than others.

I totally agree with you. Try Wrangler "Lucy" (bootcut) or "Tina" (Straight Leg) which are both "proper" rise (round your waist, not your hips/almost thighs!)
