I'm always amazed by peoples desire to pay over a hundred notes for a pair of straighteners that are no better than a pair bought for thirty!
Just make sure they have ceramic plates and temp that is approx 210.
If anyone can tell me the draw of GHD's i'd be interested to know!
I worked in a salon up till a couple of months ago and the ones we had in there did an excellent job , again about 30.00 a pair.
Babyliss total freedom 230....way cheaper and in my opinion way better as they can be used cordless or corded. They are about 50 top price but if you look around on the internet you can get some good deals.Argos had them for 23 when I bought mine,I got my daughter a pair for 17 on Amazon.
I have 2 pairs of GHDs, a pair of tressemme and a pair of babyliss. The latter 2 bought when I have been away and forggoten to pack them. I think GHDs are without a doubt the best, but then I have super curly curls, and very thick hair. The other two, well the babyliss I stopped using after 10 minutes and the tressemme are OK! but just ok.
I got my latest GHDS for 95 quid from the salon. That reasonable.
I have had 3 different makes of straighteners before my GHD's. At the time I thought my others were good but having had GHD's there is no comparison - GHD's are brilliant.
