In the Book Quiz { on sale from Mrs S Gidlow 35 Marriot Road Wheelock Sandbach Cheshire CW11 3LS, to raise funds for the local Scout Group} there is an error on q 30. The book and the author should be reversed. Still plenty of time to get this quiz, price �1 +SAE[ no stamps] 100 books and authors to identify. Closing date Jan 25th
Any cheques should be made payable to Wheelock Scout Group.

Thanks for posting the amendment, jodder. I received my copy yesterday and it looks like a good quiz.

Where the author is usually known by their initials only, do you happen to know whether the compiler is looking for just these initials or for the author's full names. For instance, should we put (say) A A Milne or Alan Alexander Milne. I'm sorry if this sounds a bit nit-picking and hope you don't mind me asking.

Initials will be suficient where the author is known by them, but in the majority of cases both christian name and surname are required. Hope this helps
