Is anybody else having problems with links in answers? Does this one work?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Hello Quizmonster - I think we've lost all HTML capabilities, so there will be no more "click here"s for the time being. The only formatting we can do is what's listed above in the "text editor" (the bit that appears above the box you type in). The colour is achieved by clicking on the A next to the U (underline). The other options are just left/centre/right/full alignment, numbered lists, bullet points, outdent and indent.

Obviously posting really long links is going to look awful. The only way round it that I've thought of is to use a site like http://tinyurl.com - all you need to do is paste (Ctrl and V) your long link into the big box on the page and click the magic button. After the site's done its trick, come back to this site and paste the new, shorter link. It works fairly well.
You're most kind, Indie. I remember you referred some time ago to the 'tinyurl' system but - as I'd mastered the 'href' approach - I never did get round to trying the former out. Might have to now.
AB Ed Earlier today, I provided what I thought was a clickable link to a previous AB answer-page and, though it came out in the correct bluish colour, it didn't work. Links to other websites, though, worked just fine. So, can't we refer back internally any more?
Wouldn't it be a good idea for you to create an always-available 'Instructions' page on how to use the site, given all the changes? Surely that would help newcomers, too. (So, this is a 'suggestion' as well as a 'thank you' to Indie and a general query.)
