Seen the new Sainsburys ad Same Priced different values (dig at ASDA & Tesco`s)
They also claim to have slashed prices off 100s of their goods.
My mother, who is 80 shops in Sainbury`s. One of her treats are 2 chocolate eclaires which sold for 73p. On her next visit the price had risen to 84p while foodstuff coming to the end of its shelf life were reduced. Was this the inspiration for Try something new today? to which my mother & her friend replied. I think I`ll try somewere new today.
The question is what values do these people refer to ???

If they cut 1000 prices they will regain the cost by putting other prices up. They all do it and you have to live with it.
If you have the time and energy then you can cherry pick the cheaper goods at each. This is somethings difficult to do as the lowest priced items disappear or are not re-stocked.
So you are forced into buying an alternative at higher price or go with out.
It is really a trick (con) of the trade.
You must remain vigilant - They are very clever with the wording. Tiny little UP TO (75% off)

Tremendous
You are spot on. When ever I go into a shop & the product they advertise is out of stock? they always try to convince you to buy an alternative at a higher price, you have to be aware of that situation.
Always enter these shops with the attitude, I have come to buy what I want, not what the company thinks I need.
