what is the rear oil filler cap for in engine bay . ive only ever filled my oil up in front cap . any suggestions

Are you sre it's oil. Could it be for an auto gearbox, or possibly brake/clutch fluid resevoir?

this is correct there is 2 oil filler caps. the reason for this is that the engine is so far back towards the baulkhead that its impossible to get in to it to top the oil up!! same on euro 7 taxis where the engines were originally manufactured for the 407. hope this helps.
