I have managed a few weeks away this year and now looking forward to another week in feb in tenerife and then a week in bulgaria. I want to get back to turkey too but we will see, i get 6 weeks hols a year now so plenty of scope.

I wish! I have loads of leave left but not enough time to take it (staff shortages) and no money either as any overtime I work I have to take time in lieu - so more leave!
I am going to get down to Devon in a couple of weeks but nowhere sunny I'm afraid.
