Full Moon Party, Thailand

I'm going travelling in January for a year (yey!) and am going to be getting into Thailand for the March 2008 full moon party on Kho Pgngan.

I've looked at loads of sites about accomaodation their but not knowing the place i'm stumped. I mean are Haad rin Nok (Sunset) and Haad rin Nai (sunrise) in stumbling home drunk distance of each other? or are we best to be staying on the main beach - HELP ME! my head is going to explode, i'm in desperate need of some reliable first hand info - cheers xxxx
