 Who was he?

His were  the legs  of the stuffed  thing, and  he rode him about. The name is bugging me..I can picture him..it's driving me potty!

Bernie something. Someone else has asked a similar question that has his name on it already. It was an ostrich though.

Rod Hull did the act more recently.
... and Rod Hull did ride an Emu (not an ostrich).
Rod Hull never Rode on Emu.
He Had A false arm over Emu and attacked people with it, but he never rode it.

That's answered both my questions, and so quickly! I was coming back to ask if to ask if Rod Hull had ever done the emu, but yes, I remember the ostrich now.

Rod Hull fell of his roof a couple of years back whilst trying to adjust his TV aerial or satellite or something.  Unfortunately he sustained fatal injuries as a result.

Obviously IndieSinger is too young to remember Rod Hull and Emu properly if she thinks that Rod Hull actually rode the Emu.
