I agree OUCH!!  What made you do something so drastic, there are loads off gentle exfoliating products about.

I'd have a word with the pharmacist at the chemists as they are very good at helping out with minor problems, but he may suggest  you see you GP, if your legs appear infected as a result of the 'beauty treatment'.

Once this has settles down, use a body scrub, loofah, of other produce designed for 'gentle'    exfoliating.

Take care and throw that sander away!!!

OUCH,keep your legs cool by placing cold clothes on them,then use a light moisterising lotion.GENTLY.

Thanks guys you've been so helpful ! I just wanted silky legs and the picture on the packet showed lovely smooth pins !!!

Thanks once again your'e full of great tips !

Don't think I want to go to docs though how baout shoving some aloe vera on it ?

&nbs p;

Did you use those sandpaper mits that are meant to remove hair.  I can remember using them back in the sixties and they were lethal!!!  Poor old you.  Your poor legs will settle down.  Use moisturiser as FINA says and keep cool cotton clothing next to your skin.  Avoid tights or trousers containing manmade fibres for a few days.  A coolish bath containing bicarbonate of soda will soothe.

Take Care

Oooo not nice!

You read my mind - I was going to say that aloe vera in a gel or cream would probably be the gentlest thing to try.  I'm sure a pharmacist could help.

I've made this mistake before.

I'd use a body lotion on them with no perfumes or colourants, something like E40 would be ideal.  The rash will go down, but whatever you do, DO NOT shave them in the meantime!

I often get rashes from shaving/waxing and find germolene cream or an equivalent really good for soothing/healing. Boots make a really good after shave soothing gel which I always apply straight after hair removal and it helps prevent rashes - not much good to you now but for future ref!!
