What can I do about my neighbours?

My neighbours are really getting in my nerves, there are countless people comi ng and going all hours of the day and night and the front door is forever being slammed shut, my mirror even fell off the wall with the force of it the other night. They have a dog that is forever barking and whining and it gets into my garden, Their teenage thug of a son is responsible for nearly every mugging or robbery in the area. The parents live a luxurious life only working a few weeks cash in hand to give them spending money for their 4 holidays a year and they just dont seem bothered about anyone else at all! I've had enough, What can I do?

Sounds to me like a drug outlet if the same people are going in and out quickly something is being sold. Report it to the police, if it is what I think they will close it down, hence the end of your problem. Good Luck

Do they own the house or do they rent it?
Start keeping a diary and log every single thing that happens each day. If they are being particularly noisy, see if you can tape it.
If they rent, you will have a good case to present to their landlord/council/housing association.
I'd contact the Citizens Advice Bureau for help.
You could also contact the freefone line to anonymously grass them up for working whilst claiming benefits.
The Police may be interested in them as well.
